Downtown Flower Watering Schedule

Each week, 3–4 volunteers help care for the flowers throughout the Historic Shoals River District.  Volunteers are welcome to bring a friend, family member, or older child to help make the task fun and enjoyable for everyone.

 

The downtown flower areas include 18 bridge boxes, 9 flower pots, and 3 flower beds. If it’s your first time volunteering, we are happy to walk you through the process and answer any questions.Water access is available at the Town Hall, and using 5-gallon buckets works best for watering. Volunteers are welcome to use a car, truck, golf cart, or whatever transportation is easiest and most comfortable for them.
